This 7 Days 6 Nights Tanzania Guided Safari gives an opportunity to see Great Wildebeest Migration. Over 2 million Wildebeest, Zebra and Gazelles move through the Serengeti and Masai Mara ecosystems in search of green pastures and safe calving ground. Their pattern of movement is highly weather dependent and dynamic, from November to March the Herds of Migrants are in Southern Serengeti where they give Birth.

Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Your Professional Safari Guide will pick you up at 8:00 am from your Arusha hotel. Heading to Tarangire National Park, a 120 Km drive takes 2-3hrs. Known for diverse landscapes and nine vegetation zones, it greets you with ancient Baobab trees. The game drive lasts till late afternoon, pausing for a picnic lunch. Spanning 3,000 Sq Kms, it's named after the Tarangire river, drawing diverse wildlife including elephants, giraffes, lions, antelopes, and zebras. You might spot rare sightings like the tree-climbing python and long-necked Gerenuk. With the highest concentration of elephants, observe fascinating family interactions. Capture these moments with your camera. Afterward, return to your camp/lodge for a delicious dinner and a good night's sleep, preparing for tomorrow's adventure.

Day 2: Tarangire to Southern Serengeti Ndutu Area

After breakfast, depart to Southern Serengeti in Ndutu region via Ngorongoro Conservation area, a 3hr drive from your Karatu accommodation. Upon entering Ngorongoro Conservation Area, notice the landscape shift from hilly forests to plain, green grasslands. In Ndutu, embark on a day game drive with a picnic lunch stop. Ndutu's sweeping grasslands fade into the Serengeti and form part of the migration route for over 2 million wildebeests and thousands of other animals. From December to April, witness the plains transform into calving grounds for the great migration, attracting predators. Ndutu Lake and Lake Masek provide wildlife sightings during the dry season. The area is home to 6 species of big cats. The action-packed game drive concludes by 5 PM, followed by dinner at your accommodation. Rest well for another exciting day ahead.

Day 3: Safari in Southern Serengeti Ndutu area

Earlier in the morning after Breakfast you will depart towards the rich endless plains of the southern Serengeti, today you get another chance to view the beautiful wildlife spectacle. The Ndutu region is a part of the glorious Serengeti National Park as well as the Ngorongoro Conservation Area (NCA). Heading out for a full day game drive gives an opportunity of tracking the migration depending on its location in either NCA or Serengeti. During game drives at the right season between December and April, you will be able to see the fertile plains turn into calving grounds and nursery for the great migration. This season attracts hordes of predators prying on vulnerable young wildebeest. Watching the circle of life take its course will be an unforgettable experience etched for life. The action-packed game drive will end late in the evening by around 5PM. You will now head towards your choice of accommodation, where a freshly prepared dinner awaits you.

Day 4: Game Drives in Ndutu Southern Serengeti to Central Serengeti

After breakfast, embark on a full-day game drive from Southern Serengeti to Central Serengeti. Traverse the endless plains, mesmerized by the vast grasslands merging with the sky on the horizon. Spanning 14,763 Sq Kms, the Serengeti is home to the majestic "Big 5" and supports a diverse ecosystem, including the beautiful Impala. Keep an eye out for the iconic Serengeti "Kopjes," massive granite boulders providing shelter to various flora and fauna. Conclude the eventful day with a hearty dinner and a restful night at your accommodation.

Day 5: Game Drives in Central Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, embark on a full-day game drive in Central Serengeti, exploring its legendary wildlife habitats. The Seronera area, with the Seronera River, attracts diverse wildlife, including lions and leopards. Even during the off-season of the migration, numerous lion prides thrive here, providing excellent year-round game viewing. Enjoy a picnic lunch during the drive, concluding by around 5 PM. End the day with a hearty dinner and a restful night at your accommodation.

Day 6: Game Drives in Serengeti and Transfer to Ngorongoro Area

After breakfast you will go for a half day game drives in Serengeti National Park then after Lunch you departs to Ngorongoro Conservation area for dinner and overnight. Ngorongoro is a special conservation area and not a National Park. The whole area is managed for both animals and local Maasai people who graze their cattle alongside the indigenous wildlife.

Day 7: Safari in Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

Get up Earlier in the morning around 6:00am for Breakfast then descend to the crater floor for game drive. You can expect to see lions, elephants, Zebras, Hippos, Flamingos, Jackals, Rhinos Antelopes and many birds. The birds seen here include eagle, vulture, and flamingos in the Crater Lake, stork, bats, giant vulture, sacred ibis, kori bustard, blacksmith plover, long necked heron and the cattle eagle. Post the picnic lunch at the beautiful Hippo pool, you will begin a steep ascend to the top exit of the crater. With a 2hr drive left to Karatu the day will come to a close, Late afternoon you will be driven back to Arusha where you will be dropped off at Arusha Airport or your Hotel in Arusha.
