This 5 Days 4 Nights Tanzania Guided Safari gives an opportunity to see Great Wildebeest Migration. Over 2 million Wildebeest, Zebra and Gazelles move through the Serengeti and Maasai Mara ecosystems in search of green pastures and safe calving ground. Their pattern of movement is highly weather dependent and dynamic, from November to March the Herds of Migrants are in Southern Serengeti where they give Birth.

Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Your Professional Safari Guide will arrive at 8:00 am to pick you up from your Arusha hotel. After everyone boards, you'll head to Tarangire National Park, covering 120 km in about 2-3hrs. The park boasts nine vegetation zones and iconic Baobab trees. Your game drive begins amidst these ancient giants, offering a unique perspective on wildlife.

The drive continues until late afternoon with a picnic lunch stop. Spanning 3,000 sq km, the park owes its name to the Tarangire River, drawing a plethora of animals like elephants, giraffes, lions, antelopes, and zebras. Keep an eye out for the elusive tree-climbing python and the long-necked Gerenuk. With the highest concentration of elephants, Tarangire provides unparalleled opportunities to observe their familial interactions. Don't miss capturing these moments with your camera.

After the game drive, return to your camp/lodge for a delicious dinner and a well-deserved rest for tomorrow's adventure.

Day 2: Tarangire to Southern Serengeti Ndutu Area

After breakfast, depart for Southern Serengeti in Ndutu via Ngorongoro Conservation area, a 3hr drive from Karatu. As you enter Ngorongoro, notice the landscape shift from hilly forests to plains. In Ndutu, start your day game drive with a picnic lunch. The sweeping grasslands gradually merge into the Serengeti, part of the migration route for over 2 million wildebeests, zebras, and antelopes. From December to April, witness the plains transform into calving grounds, attracting predators. Ndutu Lake and Lake Masek provide wildlife sightings year-round. Home to 6 big cat species, the drive concludes around 5PM. Head to your chosen accommodation for dinner and rest before another exciting day.

Day 3: Game Drives in Ndutu Southern Serengeti to Central Serengeti

After breakfast, embark on a full-day game drive from Southern to Central Serengeti. Traverse the endless plains, spanning 14,763 sq km, home to the iconic "Big 5" and diverse wildlife like the elegant Impala. The Serengeti's landscape, with its sprawling grasslands and towering kopjes, offers breathtaking vistas. These granite boulders provide shelter to various flora and fauna. Conclude the eventful day with a hearty dinner and rest in your accommodation.

Day 4: Game Drives in Serengeti and Transfer to Ngorongoro Area

After breakfast you will go for a half day game drives in Serengeti National Park then after Lunch you departs to Ngorongoro Conservation area for dinner and overnight. Ngorongoro is a special conservation area and not a National Park. The whole area is managed for both animals and local Maasai people who graze their cattle alongside the indigenous wildlife.

Day 5: Safari in Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

Get up Earlier in the morning around 6:00am for Breakfast then descend to the crater floor for game drive. You can expect to see lions, elephants, Zebras, Hippos, Flamingos, Jackals, Rhinos Antelopes and many birds. The birds seen here include eagle, vulture, and flamingos in the Crater Lake, stork, bats, giant vulture, sacred ibis, kori bustard, blacksmith plover, long necked heron and the cattle eagle. Post the picnic lunch at the beautiful Hippo pool, you will begin a steep ascend to the top exit of the crater. With a 2hr drive left to Karatu the day will come to a close, late afternoon you will be driven back to Arusha where you will be dropped off at Arusha Airport or your Hotel in Arusha.
