Day 1: Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive

The Ngorongoro crater is part of a larger ecosystem, including the crater highlands, plains, bush, and woodland. Covering about 8300 sq km, the conservation area includes the Olduvai Gorge, a site of significant fossil discoveries. The crater, approximately 20km wide, is among the largest calderas globally, housing diverse wildlife and vegetation such as grasslands, swamps, forests, salt pans, and a freshwater lake. Encounter lions, elephants, buffalos, wildebeests, gazelles, and zebras within its walls. Later, return to Arusha.
